Photos: Abuja based pastor gives N5m to Muslim lady whose fiance bathed with acid

Abuja based pastor, Joshua Iginla has given N5 million to 26 year old Muslim lady, Jamila Yusuf pictured above who was allegedly bathed with acid by her fiance.

The pastor noted that although she requires N10 million for surgery, the money he gave her will go a long way to help her condition and challenged members of his church and other Nigerians to donate towards helping the victim pay for her surgery.

He pledged to complete the money by next week with another N5 million if the balance was not raised by then.

Presenting the money to Jamila during a recent church service, the pastor who has never seen the victim before said

“I am not doing this for her because she is a member of my Church; I don’t know her from anywhere; she’s even a Muslim by religion! We are only doing this to preach love and not to convert her to Christianity, after her surgery in India, if she decides to remain a Muslim so be it” he said.He promised to sponsor the trip, alongside two other persons that will accompany to India with feeding and hotel bills as required.

“This is an opportunity to show love to your neighbour because she’s not a Christian; your neighbour must not necessarily come from your religion or ethnic group"he said

'I have no issues with T.B Joshua; he rejected a man that loves him'- Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin speaks out

Following a disclaimer on the facebook page of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua against the person and ministry of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Funfeyin last week, Funfeyin who is the General Overseer, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State has reacted to the statement.



Here is the disclaimer from Synagogue Church of All Nations: “Our attention has been drawn to several articles circulating online in which an individual named Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is referred to as the “first son” of Prophet T.B. Joshua. We wish to inform the general public that The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Emmanuel TV and Prophet T.B. Joshua are not affiliated with this individual or his ministry.”




Fondly called Prophet Jeremiah, the cleric who just returned from a trip from Europe speaks extensively about his relationship with T.B Joshua, among other issues.


We have been hearing that you have issues with T.B Joshua but first, what is your relationship with T.B Joshua?


First and foremost, my name is Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin. T.B Joshua is a person called by God and he has been a servant of God for a long time which I and everyone know. When I came up as a prophet, I just love the pattern that he is carrying out with the children of God. I just love him as a person and God is using him as a prophet.


Have you met T.B Joshua one on one?

Yes, the time I went to see him was when his buildings collapsed. When something happens to your colleagues one has to show concern and I went to him. We had been communicating on phone before I went to see him. What people should know is that I just love the man from time.

There is this rumour flying about that you call yourself T.B Joshua Junior, have you heard about it?


Yes, I was at a programme in Italy, Europe when I heard it. I went round three countries-Italy, Austria and Germany. When I heard it, I became weak in the spirit because I noticed that anytime I travel out of the country, issues like this emanate. There was a time I went to South Africa for a programme. The second day, this kind of situation happened. What happened was that there was a woman called Ufuoma who stood on the altar of T.B Joshua to say despicable things of which I know nothing about. But God was so kind that through Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the truth was revealed. She said many unprintable words against men of God and again, those things weakened my spirit. She said I charged her money and when she got to then mountain, they emptied her financially. She even displayed pictures of the white garment that is usually worn whenever one goes to the mountain. She said so many other things against our mountain. I was distracted in South Africa when I heard all this. When I watched it, I wasn’t pleased. I was asking, why synagogue? I came back and Apostle Suleiman said that the woman is a liar that he even gave her money to bury her father who had died long time ago. She criticized all of them. Apostle Suleman, Adeboye, Moshiri, Ayo Oritshejafor. I have clips of her testimony praising Oritshejafor saying there is no man of God like him. She said the man has healed her not knowing that what the woman was doing is what I call 419 in churches. She was just broadcasting these things in different places. She came to our place and was trying to condemn Johnson Suleiman and I said no, any person who insults or criticizes a man or woman of God, I don’t want to set my eyes on that person. She now asked me to help her with money, about N1.2m to start business; that she has lost everything, so on and so forth. The same thing she said on that altar was what she said but I drove her. That is what happened.


This one again, I was in the second day in Italy when the same story came again. It is not really the same but it is like it. They said I am calling myself the first son of T.B Joshua. When you read my interviews, I have never called myself first son of T.B Joshua. I am the general overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, and T. B Joshua is general overseer of Synagogue Church of all Nations, how then can I call myself first son of somebody? That means I am demoting myself. It means I don’t know what I am doing. First sons are people who are first sons to people who submit their tithes, and other things to their fathers. But I have never submitted anything to T.B Joshua. I never pay my tithe to synagogue. I have sons even grand children. I saw this thing in the media. They are the ones that called me first son. When I was coming up in the ministry, they called me Niger Delta T.B Joshua, Ijaw T.B Joshua, Warri T.B Joshua, T.B Joshua Junior. I told them categorically that I am not all those names they are calling me. I am prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin. I just love the man and I love other men of God. But to my surprise, when I was in a crusade again, this thing came up from T.B joshua’s facebook wall that I am calling myself first son of T.B Joshua. When I looked at it, I reckoned that it is not T.B Joshua that wrote it. I think the media is responsible for that write-up to capture peoples’ attention because why is it that whenever I travel abroad such stories will spring up? I respect and love T.B Joshua. Anytime he preaches he always make a statement: ‘let love leads.’ But what pains me most is the way it was written that T.B Joshua has drawn the attention of the whole world and said one individual called Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin… Who is an individual? I don’t still believe that that write –up is from T.B Joshua. People should please read my biography. Honestly it was painful when I heard it. I am now telling everyone that I am not the first son of T.B Joshua.


How do you identify someone who is called by God?


God shows himself to prophets. Prophets are people who God can talk to anytime, anyhow. They can see the past, present and future. When God called me as a prophet, I didn’t know I was a prophet. I just love this man and why I love him is this; when I was in my 21days dry fasting, because I show love to all the great men of God, they appeared to me and they taught me things in the realm of the spirit. Some appeared two times, some three, four but T.B Joshua appeared to me 10 times and he taught me so many spiritual things after which I fell in love with the man.


In Christiandom today, there is so much bad blood. You find out that pastors don’t like themselves, why is it so?


Pastors don’t love each other; prophets don’t love each other in our time. It is a weapon of Satan. But no man of God can discover that secret. Some men of God can discover it but they cannot carry everybody along. It is a weapon that Satan uses against men of God in Nigeria, in the world. Satan knew that if he uses this weapon he is going to scatter the body of Christ. It is one of the highest weapons Satan uses against the body of Christ. We are supposed to love ourselves. Jesus said we should love one another. But today it is not so. Look at Nigerians prophets and pastors. Nigeria has the highest number of anointed men of God in the world, when they speak a word, God answers them by a second but these men has never come together even for a day. Look at the Boko haram making noise, just one minute, let us gather together anywhere and speak to God collectively concerning Boko haram, I bet you, one second that thing will stop. But Satan uses that weapon to make them suspect themselves. This one is like this, that one is like that.


Who is your spiritual father?


My spiritual father is almighty God, Jesus Christ. There are some people that are called by God directly. Some people are called through somebody. The bible says a man called Moses was going to feed his flock. He was in a bush and the bush was burning but the leaves were not consumed. Suddenly a voice came, said Moses! Moses! Then, Moses did not know who God is. God told him to tell Pharaoh, ‘let my people go.’ From there Moses started. That was how God called Moses. Who called Moses? God!


A man called Samuel was working under Eli who God called. Samuel was sleeping when a voice called him, he went to Eli to ask whether he called him. It happened three times and Eli who was called by God told him to tell the voice to speak for ‘thy servant is listening.’ That was how God started talking to him. Now who called Samuel? God! God spoke to Samuel now as a prophet to go to Jesse’s house and anoint a son and this man is called David. He is the youngest son. He anointed David. Who called David? Samuel. You can see the difference now. We have some people who are spiritual fathers to some people. I have a direct call from God. I was working as an intercessor in Mountain of Fire and Miracles in Warri, Enere Junction. Because of the miracle that takes place whenever I pray where the blind see, cripple rise up and walk, etc, they said this man is using other power. That was how they drove me away. I was with them for about eight months. When they drove me, the Lord said; ‘I will be with you’ that was how I started. No man of God has laid hands on me to say go and start. And the Lord directed me to go for a 21 days fasting and then 10 days into four different times, seven, days uncountable, three days, uncountable. In Mountain of Fire and Miracles, they believe in fasting to do their deliverance. That was how I was brought up.


You said you were not sure it was T,B Joshua that wrote that disclaimer on you but between then and now, he has not refuted it, Are you sure he did not approve of it?


It has taken a long time now. It ought to have been reflected if he approves of it or not. If he is aware, what are we going to tell the unbelievers? Remember, he said, ‘let love lead.’ It is from his mouth first that I heard that statement. I never heard it anywhere. If he is aware, what about that statement that he made? It is like the body of Christ is divided. If he is not aware I don’t know but if he is aware, where does the love leads come from? And what is love?

In your previous interview, you said one can chose his spiritual father, does that assertion still hold for you given the present situation?


You can chose your spiritual father; the person that you love. It can be more than one. I still love these people. I show love to Olukoya, T.B Joshua et al.

You made mention of T.B Joshua and Olukoya, who are the other great men of God that you have relationship with?

Why I mentioned two of them is because I was brought up at Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries. Two, I love the way T.B Joshua is operating in the body of Christ as well as the way that he taught me in the realm of the spirit when I was in my 21 days fasting. I also love other men of God like Prophet Buchriri from South Africa, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, Iginla, among others. I love everybody.



As at last month, one of the most topical issues was the assistance you gave to Nollywwod actor, Ernest Asuzu, why did you develop interest in him?


Like T.B Joshua said, ‘let love lead.’ That is the love I have. I don’t know God before and I practiced from this people. Love is about sharing. We have open and secret giving. The bible says when we give, we should not allow our right hand to know, the same bible now says Jesus Christ was doing good and healing people. That means people witnessed it. You can give both secretly and openly. It is not only Ernest I have helped. I have helped a lot. If I don’t help a person in a day, I will fall sick. Any woman who gives birth in my church will get N50,000 with a bible and baby things. If it is twins, they get N100,000, and so on. There is a king from Kogi State who became a taxi driver. When I saw the case, I bought jeep of N4m for him. The jeep I bought for Ernest cost N4m too aside cash gift of N1.5 m. These gestures have been on for a long time. It didn’t start today.


What do you like most about being a prophet of God?


I love singing, dancing for God then helping people.


What don’t you like about being a prophet?

What I don’t enjoy is only one thing- my workers. They need training. My workers are a problem to me. Money is not my problem, when I pray for poor people, they become millionaires, the only problem I have is to manage my workers.


If you read the dailies today, some pastors are into ritual, armed robbery among other vices in the name of God, they also carry the bible, is that right for Christianity?


It is by calling. Because of joblessness, people do all sorts of things. It is not only in Nigeria but all over the world. Many people fall victim in the hand of prophets. Our prophets demand money. Some people even give their cars, houses, lands in the name of prophet. Any man or woman who calls him or her a man or woman of God, when you go to them and the person said drop money, run away. That person is not called by God. Jesus Christ was doing good everywhere when he was on earth. A genuine man of God does not ask money before he prays for you. When they pray for you and you succeed, they now come back share your testimony and you can now pay tithe, seed, whatever thing that you have but any man who is not called will ask you to bring money first. Today, many people fall victim because they cannot differentiate original from fake. The bible says by their fruits we shall know them.

How was the experience like in Europe?


The journey was great and wonderful. People calling me first son of T.B Joshua, are making a mistake. You will be surprised how these people welcomed me.


In Nigeria they call me ‘General’ but in Europe they called me ‘Field Marshall.’ I don’t call myself anything. In the beginning, my brothers who are lawyers were calling me prophet, pastor. I remember in the bible when Jesus asks his disciples who they think he is and the Holy Spirit touched Apostle Peter who said, ‘you are the Holy Spirit and at the same time the son of God, you are Jesus Christ!’ I have never a day called myself name. It is people out there that call me names. I really enjoyed in Europe. The crowd was really great and one of the ambassadors from south Sudan came to Italy. The white people were surprised that eight white and black people in wheel chair walked. There is something that surprised them. A baby who feeds through a tube like pipe got healed. She has been on that condition for a period of one year, eight months. The baby did not use her mouth to feed. I told them that I have an interest in that case. The white people were all looking. Immediately I pumped in the pool of Bethsaida water and I touched the baby, and asked them to remove the tube, they did. When they came back, the baby fed through her mouth. They even didn’t want me to come back to Nigeria.


Has there been anything as a prophet of God that you asked God to do that he didn’t do?


No. All the things I have begged God to do are done many times over. God always surprises me. If I beg two things, he will do a hundred.


Usually we get to read about you and the miracle that happens in Mercyland, which would you describe as the greatest miracle you have witnessed?


They are many; uncountable. A man called Osagie, a lecturer in the university of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Rivers State last year December was waiting for death because every part of his body was rotten and smelling. They just covered him with clothes. Doctors say they cannot do anything about his situation. That was how they brought this man to me. If you see this man then, you will not eat. I used the pool of Bethsaida water on him. Within one month, this man recovered. He came back with his wife and child to testify. This happened on the cross over night of 2015.


A man called Friday white who is currently working at the pool of Bethsaida was working in a river in Angola when an insect like a spider bit him. Doctors in Angola could not heal him. They sent him to Nigeria. He began to die gradually. His condition got worse that he could no longer walk and rashes covered his body. His family people abandoned him. He heard I was coming to a particular place in the bush, he waited for me. They carried him to pool of Bethsaida where he drank the water and became healed instantly. What God has done through the pool of Bethsaida are uncommon uncountable miracles. They are rare. The pool of Bethsaida is a pool that I saw when I traveled to Israel. It is the same pool in the bible. God instructed me to build one in Mercyland and that He will put His power in it. And He did.


That man now is the head of the pool. His video is on the internet. Babies have died and came back to life. What God has been using me to do are practical things. They are things you will see and believe. Once again, I am Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, I am not a son to anybody. I am a general, a prophet on my own. They call me field marshall, I accepted all of them. I am not son to anybody but I love all of them and pray for them.

'I am a virgin. When I pray to God, it goes straight to him & he answers me directly' claims Ghanaian Apostle

Ghanaian Apostle, Job Antwi, the head of all 'virgin pastors' in Ghana called "The 10 Virgin Pastors Association", said since he was born, he hasn't had sexual intercourse with a woman before and is 'purely virgin'. Antwi says that if you want to join his society/group, you will be questioned carefully on whether you've slept with a woman and also swear before man/god and the bible that if you are telling lies, something bad will happen to you. That if a non virgin joins their group, there'll be chaos.

"Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, husband means master" - Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Although this article was shared on Facebook page: Christ Embassy.Org Online Missions on September 4th and attributed to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, it did not gain attention until someone related it to the Pastor's former marriage. Anyway, according to the founding president of Christ Embassy, a Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage but rather master. That the beauty of a woman lies in listening to her husband and most women have never been taught by their fathers, hence they think their husband is another woman. Read below.

"Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, husband means master. The reason for most problems in Christian marriages is the fact that women refute God’s definition of marriage and form theirs. They believe they are equal partners.If most women had their fathers bold enough to talk to them, they will be very successful in their marriage and they will be very happy people. Most women have never been taught by their parents, their fathers particularly and that’s their biggest problem because they don’t know who a man is, they think he is another woman.


In marriage, you have the man who is the head of that union and because he’s the head of that union, its important to understand him. You think he’s the one that needs to understand his wife and that is where you are wrong. He will eventually but you have to know the type of man you are married to and his needs.

When you say you are marrying a man, you are coming under his authority. The Bible says, the man is the head of the woman (1 Corinthians 11:3) so when you marry him you come under his authority, you are not authority sharers even though you are both heirs to the kingdom of God.

When you decide not to subject yourself to that authority, you are a rebel and God is not going to accept what you are doing because you are not functioning correctly. Why did God make the woman?

Making woman was not God’s original plan because after God created Adam and before He made Eve, He said in Genesis 1:31 “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good”. God made woman because of man so woman was not His original idea. This is reality.

Genesis 2:18a “And the Lord God said “for it is not good for a man to be alone..” The Bible didn’t say “lonely” but “alone”. There is a big difference. Man wasn’t lonely but alone. Genesis 2:18b “…I will make him an help meet”. He didn’t say a partner or a supervisor or a special advisor or someone to tell him what to do.

I will make him someone to help him. God gave man a responsibility so woman was made to help man achieve that responsibility. If this is understood in every home then you won’t have problems.

I tell people that you don’t need a marriage seminar, you need the Word Seminar. Let me tell you, no husband wants another mother, he has had one all his life. He doesn’t want an older sister, he probably had one.

Your secret is in obedience, your secret is in listening to your husband, your secret is in doing the things that please him. When you don’t do the things that please him, you take the role of a mother or of an older sister.

A man loves the one he serves (God) and the one that serves him (a good wife). He fights the one that wants to be at the same level with him (a rebellious wife).

To be happy in your family and home is the easiest thing in the world, just take your role. Take your place. That place that God gave you is a beautiful place. Its a place of peace. Its a place of love. It’s a place of excellence.

Every wise person listens to wise voices (advice) but he listens to a wise voice that is presented wisely.

Everyone rebels against the voice that is trying to make a fool out of him. When you want to correct your husband, don’t lord it over him,present it as a wise suggestion. Humble yourself and be smart.

A wise woman will always be an influence to her husband, the foolish one will always annoy the husband, make him mad, make him angry and when you make him angry, you will be the victim. Learn to listen to your husband, practice it, tell yourself that you are going to do it because that is where your beauty is.

Once you stop listening, your beauty evaporates. You wonder why you are dressing and he can’t see it, he doesn’t remember your last hair style. Beauty is in obedience. That’s where the Glory is.''

Muslim street preacher calls fellow Muslim 'prostitute, Satan and a slut' for wearing tight jeans and vowed to “follow her home and blow her up' (photos)

A 31 year old Muslim street preacher named Krissoni Henderson,, allegedly chanted pro-ISIS slogans at terrified student Noor Alneaimi, 38 calling her a prostitute and slut for wearing tight jeans and promised to follow her home and blow her up, a court in Birmingham heard on Monday.




Henderson arrived court with his girlfriend who was wearing a flesh exposing dress and the court heard that Henderson made the sick threats and chants at Noor along with a group of men in robes, as a crowd of 60 gathered in central Birmingham, .


She told the city’s JPs: “He said, ‘Look at your tight jeans. You’re a kafir’.


“I don’t think he thought I was a Muslim.


“He kept saying, ‘Satan, Satan. You shall burn in hell’.”


But Henderson has denied the charges and could be seen from time to time shaking his head in court before he bowed his head to pray.


Speaking outside Birmingham Magistrates’ Court: “You treat us like dogs in your country.”
“Don’t judge me because I have got a beard.


“Judge me on what I do know.


“That’s what you’re supposed to do.”
“Let me see what happens when I put on this gown... All of a sudden I am a terrorist now?


“All of a sudden I am a suicide bomber now?


“No. We are not terrorists and we are not suicide bombers, we are loving, peaceful, law-abiding citizens and we live according to the law of whatever country we are in."
Prosecutor Simon Brownsey told the court: "It's the Crown's case that at the hands of Mr Henderson this woman was the victim of religious and offensive words, including calling her a kafir - a derogatory term for a non-believer.



"(He also said) he would follow her home and blow her up.


"At the time he wasn't known to her and she has expressed concerns about seeing him again because of the threat."She was listening to a Christian preacher on New Street and the defendant was also present.


"He targeted Noor Alneaimi by observing she was wearing tight jeans and told her to take them off.


"He told her she was Satan, she was the devil, she was a slut, she was a prostitute.
"He said: 'Take off your tight jeans or you're going to burn in hell, kafir. I'm going to follow you home and blow up your house.'"


Henderson has been charged with public order offences and the case adjourned.

It will be a tragedy of monumental proportion if Ibrahim El-Zakzaky goes blind- Shiites group warns FG

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shi’ites yesterday released a statement asking the Federal government to arraign their leader, Ibrahim Zakzaky, who has been in their custody since December last year following the clash the group members had with the Nigerian Army in Zaria, Kaduna state. The group in the statement released said should their leader go blind, “it will be a tragedy of monumental proportion".
The statement signed by the group's spokesperson, Ibrahim Musa, reads in part


“We demand that our leader and his wife be released unconditionally without delay. It will be a tragedy of monumental proportions should our leader go blind in detention or suffer further physical disability due to him being denied access to adequate medical attention.
We understand those that sanctioned his detention and those detaining him want to humiliate him and make sure that he goes completely blind before he is eventually released, thereby rendering him powerless the moment he is released from unconstitutional and illegal detention. The health of our leader and the wife continues to deteriorate on a daily basis and those holding him in custody are playing politics with his detention and that of his wife.
We urge the Nigerian people and the international community to intervene in this crude violation of the fundamental rights of our leader.”

Irate youths stab Catholic Priest, beat him to a state of coma in Anambra

Irate Youths said to be Idol worshipers, yesterday attacked a Priest, Rev. Father Fidelis Ifeanyichukwu Ugozo of the St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Ugbenu, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, beating him to a state of coma and then stabbing him in the face and other parts of his body.

According to residents of the community, the priest and some of his followers were carrying out the ‘Blessed Sacrament’ procession around some of the villages when they were stopped by one of the youth leader in Obubo village in Ugbenu town, Gabriel Ikegbunam, who felt the clergy man and his followers who were also performing their monthly rosary procession, were out to burn down their deity.

“Mr. Ikegbunem insisted that they will not enter his village named Obubo and when they overpowered him, he started making contacts, calling some youths from the village to attack the priest and others who were mainly women and children"he told ABS newsThe Catholic priest after the attack was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Ebenebe but due to his comatose state, he was transferred to St. Joseph’s hospital, Adazi Ani by the Ebenebe Deanery Chaplain.

A former catechist at St. Raphael’s parish Ugbenu, Cletus Nwankwo, said Obubo village is known in Ugbenu town for adulterous acts, adding that the youths suspected that the Rosary procession was aimed at destroying their deity shrine.

“They moved from Agueke village to Obiagu and decided to branch at Obubo before Ikegbunam blocked them and in the process, he called some of them and told them that Catholics are coming to burn their shrine. Soon the youths trooped out, wielding dangerous weapons such as axe, gun and machetes. They grabbed the Blessed Sacrament from our Parish Priest, hit it on the floor and used the Monstrance to hit our Parish priest on his hand before stabbing him on the face and other parts of the body” he said.The Traditional ruler of Ugbenu town, Igwe Lawrence Egwuonu, whose wife, Lolo Egwuonwu was also battered by the youths, said that Gabriel Ikegbunam, Israel Egwu and two others stormed his palace before the incident occurred to complain that their shrine and other sacred symbols were burnt by Christians.

“After investigation I discovered that they were all liars. None of their shrines were burnt and I can defend it anywhere. It was Ikegbunam that incited others to attack the priest and other Christians. There greatest mistake was touching the priest and destroying the Blessed Sacrament. Pastor Kokih Emmanuel of the Cross Over Ministry in Kedjom Kekuh, Tubah sub division in Mezam in the North West region, Cameroon, has been arrested and remanded in custody for impregnating two sisters. 18 year old Akombom Marie Claire is 6 months pregnant while her younger sister Brenda Nyingmah, 14, is 3 months pregnant for the said pastor.

The 29-year-old pastor accepted all the allegations and charges brought against him after police investigation. The parents of the sexually abused girls have pleaded with the CPDM government to help them get fair justice for the man of God.

‘Muslim shouting Allahu Akbar’ stabs Jewish rabbi, 62, in horrifying street attack in France (Photos)

Strasbourg, a city in France has witnessed a horrifying attack as a Muslim man allegedly shouting 'Allahu Akbar' stabbed a 62 year old Jewish Rabbi outside a brasserie (French restaurant) in the Jewish quarter in the North East of Strasbourg in broad daylight today.


Police have arrested the attacker, but according to Local sources who spoke with AP, the assailant screamed “God is great” in Arabic before launching the bloody assault.


According to AP, the victim, who was wearing “clear exterior signs of his religion” at the time of the attack, was not seriously injured. Police don't see the case as terrorism-related as the assailant has a history of psychiatric problems.

Joys Oyedepo: "I Am Crazy, i'm Not A Walking Replica Of My Mother"

On Sunday August 12th, Joys, the last daughter of the founder of Winners Chapel Overseer, Bishop David Oyedepo, shared this photo along with a post where she described herself as "crazy".


"Those who know me know that I'm crazy. I don't blend in. I'm the one who's yingin' when everyone else is yangin'. I've been called an outcast by many outsiders. But the more I tried to fit in, the more I stood out. My differences wouldn't let me stay the same. Everyday, I've come to let the differences that make me, shine through.

Tired of the need to stay the same, I've come to accept the real me. I'm not the same. And as long as I stay rare, there'd always be a need for all of me. For there would always be room for rarity. I have decided not to let the miracle of my birth be the sole miracle of my existence. The proof, is in my crazy"

However, it seems the post didn't go down well with some people as she has been receiving messages from critics. Moments ago, she took to her Facebook page to clarify what she meant by "crazy" Read her post below:

"I 've recieved way too many personal messages about this post below and so for the honest few, I have chosen to make a few things clear.
It seems that many of us have misunderstood things too easily. You all have seen my posts for a while now, some of you have seen them for years on end, and you know that I absolutely adore my family.
That cannot, has not, and will not ever change. Anyone who tries to insinuate any different is purely looking for loopholes that just don't exist.
To that group, you may need to find more profitable work because that, already is a failed venture. Then, there is this other group that expects me to be EXACTLY like my mother or sister, who are role models to many including myself. especially myself.
Thing is, you also may need to edit your expectation because that too, will not be happening.
I'm me and will never be anyone else. can never be anyone else. and will not even try to.
I love that my sister and I are not walking replicas of my mother. she teaches us not to be. she teaches that we are who God has called us to be, and that, with all sincerity. our differences make us unique, and that makes us an epic loving family. that, we are grateful to God for.
Ps, "crazy" purely means/meant different. This, you would understand if you read through the post honestly, completely and some of us, without negative intent.
So, to those who honestly were confused on the original post, I hope you have recieved the needed clarity. But to those still looking for loopholes, sorry. failed venture.
Be you. Be who God created you to be. Yes, have role models (& you always can start with my mother and sister--right here on facebook even if you have nowhere else to turn). But don't ever try to dim your uniqueness to fit in with the "world's" definition of perfect.

Photo: Catholic Priest disrobed after he was discovered to have married two wives

54 year old Very Reverend Father Peter Zuni of the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, Kakuri parish, Kaduna State, was recently disrobed and sacked by the Archbishop of the Kaduna Archdiocese, Bishop Ndagoso Manoso (pictured above) after his secret wife stormed the church to disclose her secret relationship with the Catholic priest.

The news came as a shock to the church because according to the doctrine of the Catholic Church, only unmarried men are ordained into the priesthood as they are obligated to swear to an oath of celibacy and observe perfect and perpetual service for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. This, it is believed, would enable the priests to easily remain close to Christ with an undivided heart, and dedicate themselves more freely to the service of God and the congregation.


According to The Sun, one of the wives is already late while the surviving one who blew the whistle about three weeks ago over the secret marriage is said to be nursing a child for the embattled priest.


Speaking on the development, the Archbishop of Kaduna Catholic Diocese, Bishop Ndagoso Manoso said Father Zuni's second wife had approached him in his office with a baby and claimed Zuni was the father of her child. After due investigation by his office, it was confirmed that the priest was her secret husband.


“It is very unfortunate that this thing had to happen in my diocese. It is not an easy thing for me; if I tell you what I have been going through in the past few weeks over this issue; it has not been easy for me. Father Zuni was my classmate; we spent seven years in the seminary. At a time he proceeded to Kaduna Polytechnic and read Accounting.

But this thing happened and nobody knew. But he has to face the sanction. We sacked and disrobed him because what he did is no longer compatible with his vocation as a priest. It was not true that he was transferred to any village. He was about to be transferred on normal routine, but when I heard of this story, I had to cancel the transfer and sacked him. It is true that he had affairs with two women and they both had children for him, but one of the women is late already. We are not God, we did not know on time until now that he was having affairs with two women. The church said the priest has to go because the church doesn’t allow priests to marry. So he had to go and look after his children and his matrimonial home. You can now imagine what the priest is going through, either spiritually or psychologically. He must be going through hell on earth. This is my concern for him now. The woman and the kids will be going through trauma also. I have been trying to see how I can help him, but I don’t think I have the skills to help him. But he needs help to come to terms with reality. By December he will be 30 years in the priesthood, and he is now 54 years old, so at this age what can he do with his life. Nobody can employ him now. He spent seven years in the seminary and 30 years in the priesthood, and that is 37 years, so what can he do with his life at 54? The church too is going through a lot of trauma, so we need everybody’s prayers for us to put this incident behind us.”he said in tears



Meanwhile the man in the eye of the storm, Father Zuni, has neither denied nor confirmed the allegation. In a telephone interview he said

“I find it difficult myself to believe what people are saying about me. I will not comment on it now. I will follow due process to invite you for an interview, but I am afraid, the newspaper of the archdiocese, The Cross News, may carry this story before you (Sunday Sun)".

Muslims pray with Catholics over priest's murder

Muslims attended Catholic mass in churches around France on Sunday in solidarity following the brutal murder of an 85-year-old priest, Father Jacques Hamel by 2 ISIS jihadists. More than 100 Muslims were among the 2,000 people who packed the 11th-century Gothic cathedral of Rouen, near the Normandy town where the priest's throat was slit.


"I thank you in the name of all Christians," Rouen Archbishop Dominique Lebrun told them. "In this way you are affirming that you reject death and violence in the name of God."
A few policemen and soldiers stood guard outside but did not conduct searches on the attendees. The local imam Otaman Aissaoui led a delegation of Muslims to a Catholic mass and said:

"Being united is a response to the act of horror and barbarism."Notre Dame church in southwestern Bordeaux also welcomed a Muslim delegation, led by the city's top imam, Tareq Oubrou.

"It's an occasion to show (Muslims) that we do not confuse Islam with Islamism, Muslim with jihadist," said Reverend Jean Rouet.Muslims were responding to a call by the French Muslim council CFCM to show "solidarity and compassion" over the priest's murder on Tuesday.

A woman wearing a beige headscarf who sat in a back pew at a church in central Paris said:

"I'm a practising Muslim and I came to share my sorrow and tell you that we are brothers and sisters." Giving her name only as Sadia, she added softly: "What happened is beyond comprehension."At the Saint Leger church in the northern city of Lens, around 30 Muslims attended mass wearing T-shirts emblazoned with messages such as, "Terrorism has no religion or identity".

Father Hubert Renard told the congregation: "We are not alone; our Muslim brothers are here too."

Many were moved to tears during the sign of peace, a regular part of the liturgy when the faithful turn to greet each other in the pews, either shaking hands or kissing.

Muslims also attended Catholic masses in Italy, notably at Rome's Santa Maria di Trastevere church, in response to a call by the Sant'Egidio community known for its international mediation efforts.

Also on Sunday, dozens of prominent Muslims published a joint letter pledging: "We, French and Muslim, are ready to assume our responsibilities."

Boy, father, killed by cultists in Benue

A retired Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Daniel Akogwu, has been killed alongside his teenage son by a suspected rival cult group who had gone for the boy said to be a member of another gang that had killed a rival some weeks ago.



The incident which happened in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State on Thursday, July 28, 2016, was said to have occurred in the early hours of the day when the gang laid ambush at Akgwu's house and when his wife, a food seller, opened the door at about 4am to prepare her food, they struck.

A neighbour of the Akogwus who identified himself as Adah, said that the cult group had first attacked the woman before her screams brought out her husband who was gunned down and when their target also came out, he too was killed.

“It was when the mother of the boy, a food seller, who usually comes out early to prepare for her business, opened the door that she stormed into them and started shouting.

The screaming attracted the deceased’s husband’s attention. He quickly took his cutlass behind his bed and ran out to find out why the wife was shouting."


"It was at that point that the cult boys opened fire and killed him instantly. They sighted the son and also shot at him to death too.”

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) ASP Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident, saying that the killers would be arrested and prosecuted soon.

Pastor Joseph, pictured above, of the Holy Fire Ministries in Waterfalls, Zimbabwe was last Sunday July 24th dragged before the church's elders after one of his female members confessed that the pastor had sex with her at the Church's prayer room. The victim approached the elders after she discovered that her belly was swelling and itching even though pregnancy tests proved she was not expecting.






“My tummy is just swelling and I am in pain. I suspect Pastor Joseph could have bewitched me after he forced me to have unprotected sex with him. Pastor Joseph asked me to see him after church service sometime in April for prayers but the prayers could not be conducted as he asked for sexual favours. Since he is single, I gave in after he promised to marry me and buy a car for me and from that time he accommodated me over night. He refused to use protection claiming that he is a holy man that cannot live with HIV but now I feel cheated, abused and dumped because he is no longer answering my calls from the day I told him about the pregnancy. Results from the pregnancy tests are negative and the doctor instructed me to go for a scan and Pastor Joseph promised to meet the costs but is now playing hide and seek. What I want from Pastor Joseph is for him to explain and give me assurances that he never used charms to me. I also want him to explain why he is blocking my calls after I told him about my condition. He defiled the room where prayers are conducted because this is where he forced me to have sexual intercourse with him leaving me with more questions than answers on the reason for using that prayer room instead of other bedrooms at the house” said the victimPastor Joseph when interrogated, said the victim was his girlfriend

“She is my girlfriend, I know her and she is beautiful for sure but as for not taking her calls, it was because I was busy. At one time my handset was taken by people who are investigating a certain story concerning me that I cannot disclose to you. As for more information concerning what she is claiming, I think it is better for me to meet the elders privately for a way forward and that’s what I can say for now,”he said.One of the church elders identified as Chepa say investigations is ongoing to find other ladies he might have abused in the church.

“The woman (victim) approached me with such allegations and I could not believe that our pastor was defiling the place of worship by conducting such evil acts and our concern is to find the number of ladies he abused,” Elder Chepa said
